Jenny is a former member of the Board of Governors of Charles Sturt University.

Born in Penola, South Australia, both Jenny’s parents were raised on the land in that State’s South East.  Jenny was educated in Ararat, Hamilton, Dandenong and Leongatha (Victoria) and Tamworth (NSW) and Mitchell CAE (now Charles Sturt University).

Before her election to the Parliament of New South Wales, Jenny was General Secretary of the National Party of Australia – NSW.  She is a Life Member of the Young National Party of Australia – NSW and a former State Secretary; is a member of the Central Executive and Central Council of The NSW Nationals and serves on many organisational and policy committees of her Party.
